The Lakeshore Theater is proud to welcome back one of our very favorite comics, the staggeringly funny, bracingly profane Jim Jeffries, for four performances on May 7, 8 & 9, 2008.

Jim is a headline performer in Canada, Asia, South Africa, Europe and the UK. Regarded as one of the fastest rising stars in the comedy world, his brash, confrontational style has made him one of the most sought-after comics on the world stage. As anyone who witnessed his amazing Lakeshore debut in November of 2007 can tell you, Jim easily gets away with jokes that most comedians wouldn't touch thanks to his ability to both charm and disturb a crowd in equal measures. The Herald (UK) wrote of Jim, “The Australian doesn’t care who he offends, badgering those who resist until they capitulate and join in the laughter, hard hitting and expertly delivered” (8/24/06).

Jim first appeared at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival in 2005, where he performed in the highly acclaimed “Nasty Show,” and garnered one of the biggest press articles at the festival. Jim has also been a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where his appropriately-named show “The Second Coming” sold out its entire run.
