“Saturday Night Live” veteran Jim Breuer brings his unique stand up act to Comix August 7th-9th. From family material to “heavy metal comedy,” Jim Breuer promises a rockin’ good time.
Jim Breuer is best known for his antics on SNL. Whether impersonating Joe Pesci or inhabiting his strange original character “Goat Boy,” Jim was a thrilling presence on the show for four years. Jim, however, started performing live comedy in high school, and after years of practice became so skilled that after settling in New York for just seven months landed his first nationally syndicated comedy show, “Uptown Comedy Show.”
His refined and bold comedy act also landed him a part in Dave Chappelle’s Half Baked and on Comedy Central’s list of the “100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.” Following his hour special on Comedy Central, Jim was invited to be a special guest host on “MTV Icon: Metallica,” VH1’s “Rock Honors” and Comedy Central’s “Roast of Denis Leary.”
