Jewish Wisdom on Finding Hope and Help in Hard Times February 27, 2009

Life hurts. All of us must confront illness, loss, or suffering in our own lives, the lives of those we love, or the world around us. Faced with pain, we may ask: Why is there suffering? Why me, why my loved ones? Where can I find comfort? Where is God? Is there meaning in suffering? How can I help?

Join us to explore Jewish responses to these age-old questions, and to share a no-experience-necessary Shabbat dinner.
