Jerome Rothenberg is the award-winning author of over seventy books of poetry and translation and editor of six major collections of traditional and contemporary poetry. His wide-ranging work in ethnopoetics, in Native American and tribal poetics, the study of Jewish identities, avant-garde poetry, and experimental translation is central to contemporary poetry and literary studies.
