Jeff Soto: Turning in Circles January 3, 2009

Riverside artist Jeff Soto has achieved an especially prominent place among the legions of "newbrow" painters. Soto's new work is rooted in the visual vocabulary of children and is driven by the kids' own fondness for personifying all they desire and fear in a community of creature-characters.
