Jazz keyboardist Jeff Lorber helped coin the term "New Adult Contemporary" (NAC) with his blend of funk, R&B, rock and eclectic jazz.

Formed in 1994, Muse's escalation from being the biggest band in Teignmouth in 1997 to one of the biggest bands in Europe by 2004 had been a rocket ride. Their headline set at Glastonbury 2004 saw Muse storm troop onto the high table of classic Glastonbury performances and prove themselves a formidable force in British rock. It was only with that triumph fresh in their throats, they claim, that they realised they'd 'made it'. Stateside, the band will perform in support of their recent effort, 'Black Holes and Revelations.' Cold War Kids make songs about human experience in orchards and hotel rooms, laundromats and churches, sea ports and school halls. Using songs of Dylan, Billie Holiday and the Velvet Underground as a road map, they strive to manipulate, structure and style their music with honesty.
