JCFA Music Showcase September 12, 2010

In this combined concert the JCFA Wind Ensemble performs classics from the repertoire including the lively and virtuosic "Folk Dances," the profound "Salvation is Created," and the theme from the movie 'Silverado.' The Jazz Ensemble will showcase two ends of the musical spectrum with Sammy Nestico's classic "Strike up the Band" and Alan Baylock's modern piece "Two Seconds to Midnight." Under the direction of Richard Auldon Clark, the Butler Symphony Orchestra will present Copland's "Four Dance Episodes" from Rodeo.
