Women's Resource celebrates its seventh annual JazzyJune event at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center on June 26, 2008. This Purposeful Networking event brings together local business leaders and entrepreneurs. Rachael Costner, founder, is enthusiastic about what JazzyJune brings to the community, the causes it supports, and the people that make purposeful connections. "JazzyJune is the yearly event that brings business connections alive. The fun, the business community, and the casual networking is the fuel to the connections made. Each year our fundraiser grows and the check just gets bigger for the recipient." JazzyJune provides a tradeshow-like venue along with 80 Showcase Tables and Sponsors promising a night of fun and Purposeful Networking from which all local and small businesses can benefit. This year's theme is the Power of Laughter and will feature local comedian Susan Dones, "You Funny Lady," as well as dance performance featuring professional Aurthur Murray dancers showing off with a light-hearted sense of humor and fancy footwork.

JazzyJune captures perfectly the mission of the Women's Resource: to encourage and support individuals in business by providing resources that connect services, products, knowledge, experience and community. Expected attendance 350+

Delicious appetizers, no-host bar, plus the famous chocolate fondue will be part of the tasteful venue. The event begins at 4 p.m. and will conclude at 9 p.m. Tickets are $40 in advance.
