Bill has performed many years in the Portland Oregon area as a Singer and Double Bass Player with top Northwest Artists playing Swing Standards, Jazz and Blues. With an emphasis on singing and playing Double Bass, he has been a part of the local Portland music scene for over 35 years. He performs songs as diverse as Broadway show tunes to Big Band Swing to Chicago Blues. The melodic and romantic side of Jazz is his specialty. Always entertaining and certainly inspiring, Bill adds a touch of romance and beauty with his vocal styling of love songs, sophisticated Jazz Ballads, and Swing. A Real Crowd pleaser, he can get to the heart of a song and serve it to you in a soulful and magical way.
Bill has played with many outstanding local artists over the years such as: Larry Adair, Dan Perz, Janice Scroggins, Tom McFarland and many local music venues and festivals.
