Jazz Line-Up Live November 24, 2007

BBC Radio 3’s Jazz Line-Up broadcasts live from the Festival: expect a mix of stars, special guests and some of the most exciting younger bands around.

Already confirmed is Michael Mwenso’s Vocal Combustion project, the amazing coming together of an all-singing quintet, inspired by the bebop singers Eddie Jefferson and Jon Hendricks. Featuring: Michael Mwenso (vocals and trombone); Jonathan Gee (vocals and piano); Larry Bartley (vocals and bass); Winston Clifford (vocals and drums); and Cleveland Watkiss (vocals).

Also playing are the Alboran Trio and Dimitri Vassilikas’ Sax Mafia.
