Jazz Guitars Meet Hendrix is an homage to the late, great rock guitar innovator Jimi Hendrix by two of jazz guitar's current innovators, Sheryl Bailey and Vic Juris. Blending the magic melodies and song forms of Hendrix, with the explorations of modern jazz harmony, funk backbeats, and moments of avant-garde improvisation, this band is an eclectic and electric favorite of rockers and jazzers alike. Rounding out the rhythm section is Brian Charette on organ and drummer Anthony Pinciotti.
