His career has spanned TV, movies, the stage, and literature, and for one night only, Jay Mohr brings his whirlwind of talent to Comix on May 11th.
After his headlining standup comedy performance, The Gary Unmarried star will stick around in the Copper Room at Comix to sell and sign copies of No Wonder My Parents Drank, his brand new memoir about modern fatherhood. In it, Jay waxes poetic about dirty diapers, spins theories on spanking, and mulls over the hidden advantages of parenthood.
Jay first caught America’s attention with his dead-on impression of Christopher Walken on Saturday Night Live. He went on to have scene-stealing roles in movies like Jerry Maguire, Suicide Kings, and Go, all while performing standup throughout the country. His standup background was part of what led him to executive produce and host the wildly popular Last Comic Standing, a show that’s on its seventh season. All this plus his roles on TV shows like Ghost Whisperer and Gary Unmarried.
