Jasper Johns: Seeing With the Mind's Eye January 14, 2013

Continuing SFMOMA's significant involvement with the artist, this exhibition brings together for the first time works from Bay Area collections both public and private, and will be supplemented with key works in the Johns's own collection. Organized in close cooperation with the artist, the presentation features approximately 85 major paintings, works on paper, lead reliefs, and sculptures representing all periods of the artist's work from the 1950s to the present.
