Grant is a critically acclaimed solo artist and singer/songwriter. He was a founder member and front man for the 80s Scottish pop/rock band Love and Money. Described by Q Magazine as ‘elegant and seductive’ his song writing style has in the past been compared to Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits, and his guitar playing compared to Eric Clapton! He collaborates regularly with Capercaillie’s Karen Matheson, performing live and writing songs for her solo records, as well as playing with Ewan Vernall from Deacon Blue. He is a regular at the Celtic Connections folk festival.
