One of the salient features of the puja is that massive images of goddess Jagadhatri are modelled in clay upto a height of 22 ft.

Bagbazar Sarbojonin Puja
This, the second oldest Jagadhatri Puja in Chandannagar was in its 172nd year. On Nabami morning a very long queue of women were standing ptiently to offer puja. Here also, the deity stole the show.

Bibirhat, Uttaranchal Jagadhatri Puja
The theme was Chalo Jai Rajasthan and it really did take every visitor to Rajasthan. A simulated fort looked just like a real one. Camels and a folk dance team were also brought from Jaiselmer, Rajasthan.

Mankundu Sarbojonin Jagadhatri Puja
This puja, in its 40th year, stole the hearts of everyone by putting up a replica of the City Palace of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It was clear that a lot of hard work had been put into creating the beatiful pandal.

Gondalpara Sathgath Jagadhatri Puja
With a unique theme - "Stop pollution by avoiding polythene (bags)" - this puja committee showed that they still love their environment and care about it. The pandal was wonderfully created created with saal leaves, envelopes, newspapers, straw-mats and paper bags. Proper safety measures were also arranged.

Ambica Athletic Club Jagadhatri Puja
The evolution of the "palki" was presented by this puja on its 37th year. The differnt ways in which caravans were used in the past was portrayed. It took one back to the past.
The atmosphere created was also suitabe to the pandal.

Hatkhola Daibakpara Jagadhatri Puja
This pandal was based on a temple in Hardwar, but was made from buttons of different sizes and colours!!

Kantapukur Chowmatha Jagadhatri Puja
Using sacks, plaster of paris and sandal, this pandal was a replica of the Konark temple. It looked beautiful and transported visitors to Puri.

Halapukur Sarbojonin Jagadhatri Puja
Established in 1970, this puja created a cave temple from plster of paris, wood, paper and bamboo. Sound effects and lighting was provided to give the proper ambience.

Chaol Patti Adi Jagadhatri Puja
This is the oldest Jagadhatri puja of Chandannagar. The puja is held inside a huge and beautiful temple. But the deity is the main attraction. The look is completely different from the other idols and even the lion and the elephant is faced are faced in opposite directions unlike elsewhere. The Nabami puja is performed the way it was in the past.

This puja is unique one in its kind. Every year it is being organized in a new fashion. Pandel and lighting arrangement is very beautiful to watch.

Fatakgora Sarbojanin Jagadhatri Puja
This was the 55th year of this puja. The pandal was made up if corrugated tin sheets and looked wonderful in daylight. The pandal hoppers were attracted by th 34 feet high idol of Ma Jaghadhatri with th beatiful decorated "Chaalchitra",
