Jacob Hashimoto: Here in Sleep, A World, Muted to A Whisper June 25, 2011

Commissioned by the Museum in honor of its 80th anniversary, this site-specific sculpture is composed of thousands of small "kites" made from bamboo-stiffened rice paper.
