Like the Spice is pleased to present the group show It’s A Small World featuring the work of Rachel Beach, Liz Brown, Allison Edge, Abby Goodman, Ross Racine, Nicole Stager and Chadwick Whitehead.

These days, everything from cars to ipods to ice-caps to the economy seems to be shrinking, and Like the Spice likes to keep with the times. This holiday-season showcase is a pocket-sized winter wonderland of teeny-tiny treasures – perfect for hallways, end-tables, and (if you invested in the housing market) trailer dashboards.

This group show is our stocking-stuffer holiday gift to the world, and Like the Spice will be full of pieces measured not in length or width, but depth. With all of the works around or under 11” by 17”, It’s A Small World Ranges from the abstract, lusciously colorful squares of Nicole Stager to the focused conglomerate menagerie of Abby Goodman. Also in the show will be a number of limited edition prints from artists like Mike Turzanski and Chadwick Whitehead.

Maybe the days of living-large are winding down (for a while, at least) but that’s no reason to give up on art. Like haiku, our small show invites the artist to find the heart of their work, leaving nothing but meaning and beauty. Featured artists will include Rachel Beach, Undine Brod, Liz Brown, Allison Edge, Sean Flannigan, Abby Goodman, Barry Hazard, Brian LaRossa, Andrew Neyer, Ross Racine, Masha Ryskin, Nicole Stager, Steven Tabbutt, Mike Turzanski, Jon Vermilyea, and Chadwick Whitehead.
