Israeli Independence Day Festival May 23, 2010

Enjoy performances by the Drexel University Mediterranean Ensemble, Atzilut, and the The Idan Raichel Project; traditional festival fare along with Israeli comfort foods as such as falafel and burekas; more than 20 vendors displaying and selling art, Judaica, jewelry, crafts and more. In addition, 35 Jewish and Israeli organizations from all over the Delaware Valley will help those in attendance connect to the Jewish community. There will also be a variety of activities for children. Those attending this celebration will have the opportunity to win two round-trip tickets to Israel, provided by El Al Israel Airlines, a platinum sponsor of the event.
