Irresistibly Drawn: The Songs of Joe Goode Performance Group February 14, 2013

Joe Goode Performance Group (JGPG) presents Irresistibly Drawn: The Songs of Joe Goode Performance Group this Valentine's Weekend, February 14-16, 2013.

Original music has always played a central role in choreographer Joe Goode's dance theater works. Irresistibly Drawn celebrates the music of JGPG in a cabaret-style evening of JGPG original songs accompanied by dance and monologues from some of Goode's most loved works.

JGPG alumni and founding member Liz Burritt and alumni and longtime company dancer Marit Brook-Kothlow both return to the stage to perform with the company on this special weekend. Portland-based singer/songwriter Holcombe Waller, who has collaborated with Goode on two previous works, makes a guest appearance - and local orchestral rock band Battlehooch provides live music accompaniment throughout the evening. Bring friends and sweethearts and celebrate Valentine's weekend with song, dance and a touch of humor from JGPG. Complimentary wine, chocolate and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

This fundraiser/performance is presented as part of JGPG's experimental Human Kind series.
