Did you know that some irises smell like grapes or even lemons; or that irises come in just about every color except red? Discover an amazing variety of irises at this show, hosted by the Grand Valley Iris Society. See old historic varieties and the newest hybrids, including ‘Spaceage’ iris with horns at the edges of their beards. View flower arrangements, including a special section created by kids. Pose your questions to Iris Society members who will be on hand all weekend. On Saturday at 2 PM, Tim Rausch with GVIS will share the best irises for your garden, historic varieties and new hybrids. He’ll discuss the proper way to plant irises and share tips to encourage the best blooms. Admission to the show and lecture is free.
