I.O.Z is a community of musicians, engineers and visionaries. Daniel Groover and Steven Senn started the group in 2009 and eventually added Jeffrey 'Huggy' Hunt on percussion and washboard, Jonathan Lee on bass, and Greg Perry on drums. Over the past year, the band has recorded a CD and built up a solid following in Atlanta by performing in such venues as Smith's Olde Bar, Variety Playhouse, and The Five Spot, where they've headlined and opened for the likes of Col. Bruce Hampton and Toubab Krewe.
