International Conference IDCEE 2011 “Investor Day Central and Eastern Europe 2011: Internet Technologies & Innovations” (IDCEE 2011) will take place on October 25-26, 2011 in Kiev, Ukraine. This year the Conference will be held at the exhibition hall "ACCO International". More than 2,000 participants from Central and Eastern Europe, United States and Canada are expected to attend the event.

The main goal of IDCEE 2011 is to bring together ideas and insights of leading experts and start-up entrepreneurs with expertise and experience of investors and business-angels, as well as organization of keynote speaker presentations, panel discussions, startup competition, and meetings with prominent world experts.

The Conference is one of its kind in Ukraine and has become a must-attend annual event for leaders and innovators in the sphere of web-related technologies throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

Representatives of the leading global funds, including top venture funds from Europe (Mangrove), Switzerland (B-t-v (BrainsToVentures)), Russia (ABRT), USA (Intel Capital), and Ukraine (TA Venture) have confirmed their participation in the conference.

IDCEE 2011 will consist of four parts. During the conference the selected start-ups from the CEE region will not only pitch their projects to investors, but will also participate in the start-up competition. Apart from that the conference will be dedicated to keynote speeches by the outstanding experts and visionaries, as well as to panel discussions on hot topics. Also, there will be the opportunity to get the scope of IT Ukraine Association.

During the conference the selected start-ups from the CEE region will pitch their projects to investors. Investors and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to discuss the projects one-on-one. The most successful start-ups will share the prize pool of the conference in proportion 60%, 30%, 10%.

Apart from the start-up competition and forum, the conference will include “IT Ukraine” Association, which is represented by the following companies: “Miratech”, “Softline”, “Mirasoft”, “Profix”, “Ukrsoft” and “Softserve”. The objective for establishing this Association was to consolidate software companies’ efforts in promoting competitive Ukrainian products at the world market, unite a scientific, educational and industrial potential of Ukraine to develop the software meeting the highest international standards, as well as create the most favorable conditions for the Ukrainian IT industry further development.

Within the framework of the IDCEE 2010 more than 300 representatives of investment funds, individual investors, experts, business-angels from Ukraine, Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, US and Canada attended the conference.

More than 150 entrepreneurs from 12 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, selected by the expert committee, had the opportunity to present their start-ups within the framework of the conference.

Global venture capital funds such as DFJ and Mangrove supported the conference. All funds, which participated in the IDCEE 2010, have $15 bn. under management. More than 1,000 participants attended the conference during the 2nd day.

Within the framework of IDCEE 2010 three most investment-attractive start-ups were chosen. The winners shared a prize pool of EUR 10 000, of which EUR 6, 000 got the company from Russia – Zingaya. Second place and EUR 3, 000 was granted to the company from Ukraine - Thick Buttons. And the third place won the company from Czech Republic – Lurista, which received EUR 1, 000.

IDCEE 2010 became the platform, where investors and entrepreneurs met in order not only to raise investment and to make their dreams come true, but also to benefit millions of people.
