Building on its strengths in agriculture and energy, the Government of Alberta has invested billions of dollars in its education system, associated programs, as well as in people and research infrastructure to create the foundation for a diversified and prosperous knowledge-based economy. The Minister of Advanced Education and Technology will outline new initiatives in technology commercialization that the province is undertaking to invigorate connections between investors, researchers and corporate partners in Northern California and Alberta. The province is directly working to assist and foster a culture of innovation to generate new ideas and approaches, attract leading thinkers and create value.
