Intro to Precious Metal Clay (PMC) Pendants/Earrings August 1, 2008

Have you ever wanted to make your own custom silver jewelry?
Now is your chance (and it’s easier than you think)!

In one three-hour session you will learn the basics of making your own beautiful and unique jewelry with PMC (Precious Metal Clay). PMC is real silver suspended in a clay-like medium. It’s non-toxic and requires very little training or special equipment. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of PMC: layering and adding textures, stone setting, torch firing (affordable method that you can do at home) and finishing techniques. You decide what to make in class; either a pendant, charm or earrings.

The materials fee (paid in class directly to the teacher) covers your PMC+ and in-class use of all the necessary tools - everything needed to create your one of a kind jewelry. You will leave with completed pieces of silver jewelry designed by YOU, handouts & resources, and the skills necessary to make fine silver jewelry, from start to finish, in your very own home.
