Interpreting and Misinterpreting Jane Jacobs: New York and Beyond

Urban theorist Jane Jacobs was a vocal critic of Robert Moses and a leader of the Greenwich Village preservation movement. This panel discussion, introduced by Roberta Brandes Gratz, founder of the Center for the Living City at Purchase College, and moderated by Mary W. Rowe, Senior Urban Fellow, Blue Moon Fund, will examine the principles that Jacobs espoused.
