International Readings at Harbourfront - Anthony De Sa, William Deverell, Padma Viswanathan April 9, 2008

Anthony De Sa grew up in Toronto’s Portuguese community. His short fiction has been published in several North American literary magazines. He attended The Humber School for Writers and now heads the English department and directs the creative writing programme at a high school for the arts.

William Deverell has published thirteen novels including the acclaimed Needles, and Trial of Passion, which won the Hammett Prize and the Arthur Ellis Award.

Padma Viswanathan is a fiction writer, playwright and journalist from Edmonton, Alberta. She received her Creative Writing MA from Johns Hopkins and her MFA from the University of Arizona.
