Governor Kulongoski's office is striving to position Oregon as a carbon credit trading center for the Asia-Pacific region. Allen Alley, the Governor's Deputy Chief of Staff for Energy, Transportation, and Economic Development, is leading this initiative and will join a panel to speak on this topic on behalf of our Council Young Professionals and PSU’s Master of International Management program. Also taking part in the panel discussion are Steve Gutmann, Senior Commercialization Manager at EcoSecurities, PLC, and Angus Duncan, President and CEO of the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, so that both may share their experiences in the post-Kyoto carbon trading market. Please join us at the EcoTrust Building for a panel discussion about this fascinating and ever-growing environmental field. Appetizers and beverages included. Current PSU MIM students may register at Council Member rate. Please indicate in order comments.
