For kids, seniors, and everybody in between!

Becky Kemper, Education Outreach Director at the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, will lead a lively workshop about the plot and themes of Cymbeline. Becky holds a Master of Letters in Shakespeare & Renaissance Literature, and an MFA in Directing from the American Shakespeare Center & Mary Baldwin College.

Cast members Carl Holvick-Thomas (Ariviragus/Lord) and Sharon Huff (Queen) from this summer’s Free Shakespeare in the Park production of Cymbeline will perform readings from the play.

Join us for this unique opportunity to discover more about Shakespeare and Cymbeline and be one of the first to view these exciting artists embody their roles!

Workshop participants will:
- Learn... what devious schemes the wicked Queen has in store for the virtuous Princess Innogen – heir to King Cymbeline’s throne!
- Play... with Free Shakespeare’s professional actors as you get onto your feet and into the words for this interactive, fun exploration of Shakespeare’s enchanting fairy tale!
- Discover... why Shakespeare wrote the way he did and why should we care?

Presented in collaboration with the City of Cupertino’s Teen, Library, Parks and Recreation, and Fine Arts Commissions.
