David Eagleman His book Sum: 40 Tales of the Afterlives was a publishing sensation when it appeared last year. Brian Eno composed a score for it. Stephen Fry sent sales rocketing when he mentioned it on Twitter and Nick Cave, Jarvis Cocker and Miranda Richardson have been recorded reading from it. Translated into 16 languages, this slim volume has also given rise to the Possibilianism movement, inspiring thousands to think about how they live and what comes after. (Possibilianism is a philosophy that rejects both the idiosyncratic claims of traditional theism and the positions of certainty in atheism in favour of a middle, exploratory ground).

Will Self Award-winning author of ten acclaimed novels including The Book of Dave, Cock and Bull and How The Dead Live. Also the author of The North London Book of the Dead, Self is considered one of the most important British writers of his generation.
