Lance Neckar is a Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota. This lecture is part of a series on the bridge collapse, Telling River Stories: The I-35W Bridge, the Mississippi River, and Rebuilding Community Connections. It is sponsored by the Institute for Advanced Study, the College of Design, the Institute on the Environment, The River Life Program of the Institute on the Environment in conjunction with the Urban Studies Program, the Water Resources Center and the Metropolitan Studies Consortium.
