The Institute for Drug Resistance (IDR) is the only organization in the world with a mission to foster collaborative, cross-disease research to accelerate the design, development and delivery of resilient therapeutic agents such that drug resistance is avoided.

Further, we strive to bring together stakeholders in the fight against drug resistance including scientists, clinicians, policymakers, pharmaceutical, and biotech representatives to foster collaborative cross-functional drug resistance initiatives.

Our annual Spring Conference includes an esteemed set of speakers and will include both scientific presentations and a Drug Resistance Policy Roundtable Discussion.

This year's list of speakers includes:
* Marie Pierre De Bethune, Ph.D. - Vice President External Innovation at Tibotec
* Stephen Hughes, Ph.D. - Director, HIV Drug Resistance Program; Chief, Retroviral Replication Laboratory; and Head, Vector Design and Replication Section, National Cancer Institute
* Nathanael Gray, Ph.D. - Assistant Professor of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, Harvard Medical School
* Steven Becker, M.D. - Senior Program Officer Infectious Diseases Development, Gates Foundation
