Ukrainian-born pianist Inna Faliks will perform an intimate recital presenting works by Mozart, Villa-Lobos, Haydn, Shostakovich, Corigliano and Beethoven on Sunday, March 25th at 4:00pm at ARIUM, downtown’s newest venue for the visual and performing arts.

Ms. Faliks immigrated to the states at the age of ten, at which time she had already composed an opera and played her first solo recital in Rome, Italy. Her playing has been revered as “infusing every note with brilliance and personality”, “poetry…a kind of panoramic vision.” Ms. Faliks gave her debut with the Chicago Symphony at age 15 playing Tchaikovsky’s Concerto # 1, her Carnegie Hall debut in 2000, and has performed numerous recitals and concerti in prestigious venues in the United States, Europe and Asia.

General admission is $40 and includes a selection of fine wines and delectable organic hors d’oeuvres prepared by Executive Chef Richard Guier.
