Loyola's Civil Justice Program presents the symposium, "Injuries without Remedies," on Friday, March 26 in conjunction with the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. The keynote address, "The Dialectics of Injury and Remedy," will be delivered by Marc Galanter, professor, the University of Wisconsin Law School, with commentary by Rick Abel, professor, UCLA School of Law. Panels include "Injuries and Remedies in Political and Cultural Context," "Emerging Injury Problems." "Remedies at Risk" moderated by Loyola Professor Georgene Vairo and "Rethinking Remedies" moderated by Associate Professor Doug NeJaime. Professor John Nockleby, CJP director, will give the welcome address along with Anne Bloom, a professor at the McGeorge School of Law.
