Indian Ocean Concert August 11, 2006

Indian Ocean has accquired cult status in India over the last fifteen years with their groundbreaking music.

Their repertoire spans a number of genres from rocking political anthems to meditative spiritual ballads. The band has shown its ability to compose songs that celebrate individual journeys to transform the self, and those that articulate collective struggles to change the world, with equal felicity.

Indian Ocean's label-defying music is a confluence of myriad musical influences and can perhaps be best described as "Indian folk-rock-jazz".
