For Fergie, the once celebrated prince of hardhouse, who played his first club aged 14, who exhausted Ireland’s club scene by the age 16, led a British youth movement, graced DJ magazine covers, entertained millions with a weekly show on BBC Radio 1, and toured the world, pretty much being one of the biggest DJs on the planet in 2000, it was time to start over.

Now Fergie has slowly built himself a new profile, via his solo productions that are firmly in Techno territory, and around his label Excentric Muzik which has grown to become a respected stable for dark club music.

Clearly he has found his sound and the results are very evident in the free flow of original productions and remixes being consistently supported by the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Miss Kitten and Slam. His ever growing ‘Excentric Muzik’ label has been hailed by Carl Cox as his “label of 2008”, with Cox going on to license several productions, on top of Fergie's collaborations with Reset Robot, Alan Fitzpatrick, James Lavelle and more.
