Artists reception for "IN TIE ONE WE TRUST," an installation and exhibition by Jocelyn Superstar a.k.a. Nicole Elizabeth Repack. Also featuring collaborative work by Nicole Repack with Isis Rodriguez and Silver Warner, and select pieces from the "American Slot Series.

"IN TIE ONE WE TRUST" is dedicated to the memory of Jonathan "TIE ONE SEO SHAE HIS" Lim, a friend and teacher of "bombing" who was murdered at age 18 while doing his art in the Tenderloin District in San Francisco in 1998. Tie was a brilliant young Chinese-American artist and nationally known, well-respected "King" of graffiti art.

Bluedahlias is a new gallery and studio space in the Old Sears Building, in SF's Mission District, managed by Julie Blankenship.
