In-Store Launch Party for Cold Comfort by Ellis Vidler November 19, 2011

Join us at Fiction Addiction where we will have a launch party with light refreshments for Cold Comfort (Echelon Press, paperback $14.99) written by Ellis Vidler. Ellis writes crime fiction, usually suspense, with varying degrees of romance. After all, love makes the world go round, but death stops it cold. These two elements seem essential to creating characters, conflict, and an exciting plot. Besides, it’s what she likes to read. And how could you write something you wouldn’t want to read?

Ellis is a writer and editor. She won the South Carolina Writers Conference prize for short fiction and was a finalist in or won a few contests. Her first novel, Haunting Refrain, was published by Silver Dagger Mysteries. She is currently a member of Sisters in Crime and Romance Writers of America and lives with her husband and dogs in the South Carolina piedmont.

Her second book, The Peeper, is co-authored with Jim Christopher.
