Yerba Buena Arts in Dialogue presents "In Conversation with Jonathan Moscone," a discussion with the award-winning artistic director and playwright, at Intersection for the Arts on Thursday, April 19, 7 pm-9pm.

Now in his 12th season as Artistic Director of the California Shakespeare Theater, Moscone most recently directed the world premiere of Ghost Light, a production about the assassination of his father, San Francisco Mayor George Moscone. Moscone is the first recipient of the Zelda Fichandler Award, given by the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation for "transforming the American theater through his unique and creative work." He serves on the boards of Theatre Communications Group, LoveLife Foundation and George R. Moscone Center for Public Service. SF Appeal Editor Eve Batey will lead the discussion.

The event is part of the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District's exciting new Yerba Buena Arts in Dialogue series of discussions, performance and workshops held each third Thursday of the month. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at www.visityerbabuena.org. Seating is limited. The first ten people who live or work in the neighborhood to email [email protected] will be admitted for free.
