IMusicalia, an ensemble of 11 musicians from Italy, will perform at the Williamsburg Library Theatre on Sunday, September 10 at 7:30 p.m. Rooted in the Italian Renaissance, iMusicalia's music is redolent of Italian folk melodies with hints of Middle Eastern sounding elements as well.

Tickets for this performance in the library's Dewey Decibel Concert Series are $15 for adults (in advance), $10 for students and $8 for those under 16. Tickets on the day of the show are $20 adults, $15 students and $10 for those under 16. They may be ordered by calling (757) 259-4070. The Williamsburg Library is located at 515 Scotland Street.

iMusicalia is an award-winning troupe of traditional musicians and singers from the Campania mountain region of Italy, near Naples. Led by folklorist brothers Amerigo and Marcello Ciervo, the band formed nearly 30 years ago has released more than 10 albums and performed all over the world. This lively ensemble includes accordion, barrel organs, guitars, mandoloncello, bouzouki, castagnettes, tambourine, trombone, flugelhorn, drums and voice.

iMusicalias 2006 Tour is a production of Jefferson Center in Roanoke. It is made possible through a grant from the Campania Ministry of Culture and is supported by the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation.
