IMTA (Americas) Conference & Member Showcase September 11, 2010

IDV Solution's own Director of Product Management, Scott Caulk, will be speaking at the IMTA Conference on Monday September 13th 2010 @ 2:30PM. He will be discussing the central role of maps in Business Intelligence 2.0.

Increasingly, commercial and government organizations are realizing the power of mapping and location for understanding data and making better decisions. This session will explore the what, why, and how of this phenomena as well as how IMTA members can benefit from this trend. Specific use cases in organizations as diverse as Microsoft, Toyota, Novartis, Franklin Templeton Investments, Proctor & Gamble, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Homeland Security, and more will be examined and compared. A common thread from these stories will be extracted: exploiting the contextual power of maps to unite islands of enterprise and external content into focused, interactive, collaborative data visualizations to increase insight and understanding for better, faster decision making. The session will conclude with a look at best practices for making digital map assets appealing for this growing customer base.
