Butser Ancient Farm
The spring meeting of the Buriton Village Association will provide a fascinating insight into Butser Ancient Farm or “that strange place over the hill”.

Steve Dyer, the Archaeological Director of the Farm, will be describing both Iron Age and Roman aspects of the farm’s work – and explaining findings from research into ancient farming methods.

Steve has explained that he's deliberately given his talk the sub-title of ‘That Strange Place Over the Hill’ because he thinks that "that's all that a lot of people know about us!"

Pop along to the Village Hall on Thursday evening (23rd April) and find out a lot more about the place, its research work and its programme of lively events ...

The illustrated talk commences at 7.30pm. Admission is £1 (to include coffee and biscuits) and all are welcome.
