Illinois Symphony: Mendelssohn Bicentennial November 20, 2009

Mendelssohn turns 200 this year and the Orchestra honors his genius with three of his most popular and delightful compositions - music from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' his 'Scottish' Symphony, and his Violin Concerto in E minor performed by concertmaster, Julieta Mihai.
