Idomeneo, Re Di Creta April 25, 2010

In the aftermath of the Trojan War, the shipwrecked Idomeneo, King of Crete, strikes a deadly bargain with the gods, promising to sacrifice a human victim if he is saved. To his horror, the victim turns out to be his own beloved son, Idamante. Can Idomeneo triumph over fate to save his beloved son?
