October 20: Icon Piedmont versus Icon Burgundy Wines - A comparative tasting ($120 – Only 8 seats left!)

Piedmont and Burgundy have a lot in common. Continental climate hot in summer and cold in winter. Delicate grapes (Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo) that require a lot of know how and experience. Single varietals’ wines that age beautifully. No wonder there are a lot of exchanges between the wine makers of both regions. In this small and intimate setting (total of 12 seats), we will have an opportunity to learn about both regions and taste the top appellations in the best years currently available on the market. Cheese will be served during the tasting as light appetizers at the end.

Wines to be tasted:
Burgundy:
2003 Domaine Fourrier AOC Chambolle Musigny
2002 Domaine Arlaud AOC Gevrey Chambertin
1996 Christian Remoissenet AOC Clos de Vougeot

Piedmont
2000 Conterni Fantino DOCG Barolo
1997 SottiMano DOCG Barbaresco
1996 Gaja Darmagi Cabernet Sauvignon
