IADT Chicago IMAGINE 2011 Fashion Show May 19, 2011

Join us for a night of fashion, fun and inspiration at IADT-Chicago's 2011 IMAGINE Fashion Show!

This year's show will be at the UIC Forum at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.) Featuring over 100 original student designs by 40+ designers, the show will be emceed by ABC-7's Val Warner. Miss Illinois USA Angela Sparrow will lend a hand on the runway, and musical guest Kristinia DeBarge is performing.

IMAGINE '11 is created and produced by the students and faculty of IADT-Chicago. The designs, chosen by a panel of local fashion insiders and industry experts, include daywear, swim, cocktail, evening, wearable art and fabric manipulation, with a special presentation of McQueen-inspired gowns in honor of the late Alexander McQueen.

Each program at IADT plays an intricate role in bringing IMAGINE to life, including Interior Design, Advertising & Design, Multimedia Production & Design, Merchandising Management and Fashion Design. Students from all of these programs come together as a team, developing a creative logo, assembling sensational stage designs, casting professional models from Ford and Factor, and designing unique garments.
