After a sold-out November run in Boulder, Woof! Theatre Productions brings “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” to the John Hand Theater in Denver.
Utilizing the talents of eight actors (instead of the usual four), “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” opens January 22 and runs through February 13 at the John Hand Theatre, 7653 East First Place in Lowry. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 31 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 Adult and $16 Student/senior. This comical celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as "the relationship." Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"
The cast includes Deborah Curtis, Melissa Fike, Marc Graham, Robert Payo, Eric Sammons, Christine Sharpe, Peter Trinh, and Jill Woodhouse. With musical accompaniment by Trent Hines.
