New York City theatrical premiere of the new documentary that made waves at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival.

I for India is the story, told mostly through vintage Super-8 film from both England and India, of a family making a temporary move in search of a better life. The temporary move, however, becomes a 40-year permanent emigration from their home and family in India.

Peter Bradshaw of THE GUARDIAN said of I for India, "In just 71 minutes, Sandhya Suri's film covers a huge amount of ground, and makes you believe you know the family personally: a miraculous mini-epic."
