We are going to run this event a bit longer than usual because of all of the acts, so we are suggesting 6 until 7:30 pm for the networking bit, then 7:30 until 10 pm for the real entertainment.

If you were at the Bond-Media event at The Liner in September, you will know how effective it is to meet other businesses and promote your own business at an entertaining and relaxed event like this, one of the most frequent comments we heard after that night was how many good contacts our members had made as well as what a great night it was.

So, the line-up is...

The Comic - Stanley McHale

Stanley has been performing Stand-up comedy for 10 years, beginning his career in London, he moved to Liverpool 7 years ago and is an established fixture in the city's clubs.

Stanley is also a writer and has a regular column in the Liverpool Echo. His first book, "The Power of 10", a spoof on the self-help culture will be published in spring 2008. Along with fellow comedian, Keith Carter, he has written a Liverpool based play, "The Berserker Boys" which opens for a long run at the Royal Court theatre in August 2008. Stanley is one of the tutors on the superb "Take A Stand" public speaking/standup comedy course.

The Hypnotist - Alan Bates

You might have seen Alan on Graham Norton's TV show just a few weeks ago, Alan's whole -career has been in show business and for the last 20 years has hypnotised many thousands of "Stars". He lays claim to be one of the worlds great Masters of the art and is a Star of Television and Theatre both in the U.K and overseas, Alan puts his success and reputation down to a unique show content, the ability to communicate and entertain people with a quality presentation and the ability to hypnotise people very quickly.

The Musicians - Frank Maudlsey (Flock of Seagulls)

and Owen Moran (Cook Da Books)
Frank and Owen are writing and playing as much now as ever and are contributors to the Liverpool Number One Project to release the single and the Covers and Collaborations album in January 2008.
Owen and Frank are also trustees and artistic directors of the Winning Hand charity, headed up by Pat Hughes, to find the next Liverpool hit band from amongst the less advantaged members of the city. We will cover more of this in future newsletters.
