Hypernova is an indie-rock band from Tehran, Iran. Iranian government policies prevent the group from being quite as active as they would probably like to be, but they are getting plenty of attention around the world, even being heralded as the forefront of the Iranian rock movement by some. The band has made a number of U.S. appearances.
