Photographers Peter Menzel and Faith D’Aluisio visited 30 families in 24 countries on a quest to explore the personal and political nature of food and nutrition. In this slide-illustrated talk, view their spectacular photographs of each family with a week’s worth of food purchases. These portraits offer telling commentary on the concept of nourishment and the effects of conflict, poverty and globalization. A book signing will follow the program.
